Comments: This painting features fantasy model Drakaina. I used a variety of different techniques, including erasers, airbrush, pencil, and spray bottle. I really enjoyed combining the wolves with an ominous female figure. Drakaina was great for this image. Her look really fit the theme and setting.

The title "Blood Moon" refers to a lunar eclipse, when the moon takes on a reddish cast. It is an event I have witnessed several times and have always wanted to do something with that theme.

As soon as I saw Drakaina, I knew I found the perfect model for the image!
