Title: Eclipse

Medium: Airbrush and colored pencil on paper. My model here is Veronika Kotlajic.

This is Eclipse as she appears on the cover of Heavy Metal Magazine in the September 2007 issue.

I had to cover up Veronika to appear on the cover, so I painted over a high res print with airbrush, colored pencil, and conventional paintbrush.

I have to say, I wouldn't think revisiting a painting would have produced such results, but I am really happy with how it came out!
