Comments: This is model Nicole Damon. She was kind enough to let me use her images, many of which were taken by Art Martinez. I was drawn to the play of light on her body, so I really dramatized everything. I wanted to use a swirl of fire, smoke and hair to create some motion, and keep the sharp highlights to make the figure pop out from the background.
