First and most importantly, a sincere thanks to you for taking the time to view my site!

This page will be dedicated to keeping you informed about upcoming events, shows, and new projects.

5/11/2006

Lots of new things going on this month. I just did some work with Bianca Beauchamp, so you have to go check out Barbarian, Snake Charmer, and The Bride. Two sold already, so I only have The Bride left. I do have prints of all of them, though.

I also just finished three more paintings for the Fantasy Flight Games role playing version of George R. R. Martins' A Game of Thrones. These are for the upcoming Iron Throne edition to be released thi s fall.

I have screen savers for cell phones now available through Wireless Developer at www.wirelessdeveloper.com, so go and get 'em!

Also, most of my collection and originals can now be purchased at my Ebay store - Calandra Studio. No more hassles, just go and order!

3/24/2006

Lots of new images are making their way into print s and notecards. I have worked with the fantastic Bianca Beauchamp on a commission piece and and am now working on the zombie bride painting with her for a fun project. If you don't see enough of her, please go visit her at www.biancabeauchamp.com!

I did some work for Fantasy Flight Games, also. I did two cards for the upcoming release of A Song of Night card set. It should be out in a month or so.

Something else I have been working on is my Ebay store! I have prints and originals for sale there. You can now go and buy in confidence at your convenience! Just follow the link on my homepage!

11/07/2005

As always, you should check the new releases page. I have new images featuring Lauren Michelle as"Warrior" and my newest image "The Bloofer Lady".

Some interesting news: If you do needlepoint or cross stitch, you an now get Officially licensed patterns of some of my images from White Willow Stitching at http://www.whitewillowstitching.com

They have made several images into patterns and more are being added all the time.

9/15/2005

I have made some updates to the prints and notecards pages. You will a couple of new releases, including Broken Halo. The prints seem to have gotten settled in price. I have made adjustments as shipping prices and sizes of prints are more in line. They actually are lower than anticipated!

9/05/2005

I just posted a new image, Broken Halo, on my Fantasy Page. It is of my good friend Khwan. I have had requests for prints already and we are in the process of having them produced. I will post details as I get them.

I also have the new Night of the Living Dead prints available. Please email me for details at mcalandra@earthlink.net

8/18/2005

Okay, I have been waiting a while to spring this news. I just finished the new Official Artwork for the original 1968 version of Night of the Living Dead! If you know me at all, you know I can now die happy. This film has been an obsession since I read the book as a kid in sixth grade. I did not see the film until a few years later on late night television (yes, it was back before VHS and DVD). I remember they ran a disclaimer under the film as it played, saying it was only a drama and was not a factual news report. It was just one of those films that slugged me in the gut at the right time and I still am catching my breath. As a kid, I was terrified at the prospect of the dead returning to life, but as I got older, I got past that and recognized it for the piece of film making that it is. I am really thrilled to work on this project (and there will be more) with everyone involved, including Russ Streiner, John Russo, and Karl Hardman, and a special thanks to Kyra Schon for her encouragement and inspiration. I am really lucky to be able to do what I love to do. What more can you ask for? You can see the new piece by clicking here.

8/12/2005

If you go to the Prints and Notecards page, you will no see several new images, including the popular "Dragonslayer" featuring model Deb Shaw. The print s are coming along well, and are now more affordable. They are all about 18x20 or so in size and the images will vary based on their dimension on the page. You will also see that notecards featuring the images are also available. This line will be expanded as I do new images.

7/09/2005

I have two limited editions prints available now. "Eclipse" and "Space Girl" are both in print, with "Blood Moon" coming later this month. Just send me an email if you would like to place orders for any of these prints. If you are sending me emails and not getting a response, please just type it in. I have been told that several people have sent emails and my script is giving them trouble. You can always call the studio at 419-885-8787 during business hours, too.

A new piece called "Chrysalis" is now finished in my Fantasy page. It features model Veronika Kotlajic and I am working on a new piece in the "In Progress" page, too. I have some living dead art coming as well.

06/03/05

I posted a new commission painting for you to check out. The title is "Pink" and it is on the Fantasy page. I do have a few new things in the works and I will post a new image to the "In Progress" page in a day or two.

I am getting ready to release the follow up to "Eclipse" linited edition print. This one will be "Space Girl" and will be available June 22nd. Please email me to reserve your print and get the pre-publication price!

05/20/2005

I have added a new Night of the Living Dead image to the gallery. You can see my experimentation with splatter techniques and different tinting with black paint. In my series of portraits, I have added a little color to black to see the different tinting effects. If you look at the Frankenstein, it is tinted with green, the Mummy has yellow, and Dracula and the new Night piece have red mixed with black. It may not be ground breaking technique, and indeed, many artists may already do this, but I am having my fun playing around with it.

05/02/05

It has been a looong time since I updated this page! Most of you keep up pretty well with the "In Progress" page, so you see what is coming up. But, this is news!!

I will start releasing limited-edition giclee prints of my work starting in May! I will start with "Eclipse", which will go into production May 21st. These are high quality prints that will be limited to only 50 worldwide, so you may want to reserve yours now. I am also offering these at a pre-production price of $115 US until May 21st, then they will go to $150 US. The price will include tube shipping in the continental US, also. Please visit the "Prints and New Releases" page by clicking here for more info. Please email me to reserve your print, they will be first come first serve!

"Eclipse" will be followed by "Space Girl", and "Blood Moon", so you can also get on the pre-production list for those, too. I have waited a long time to do this, so here is your chance to own some art at a more affordable price. With the addition of the limited-edtion prints, you will start to see some originals go up into a higher price category.

In another piece of news, I have been working on a large painting of Pope John Paul II, but I have not posted it here. If you would like to see this image, you can see it in progress at my frameshop and studio site. The address is http://www.frameworksartandframe.com

I needed an image more suitable for display on that site, so that is what I have going to show my portrait services. Prints of that piece may go in to production soon, also.

8/10/04

Check out my "In Progress" page for work I am showing in various stages of completion. This is my newest work and it gets updated often. The studio is going very well. I have more time to develop new art and the picture framing business is building as well. At any rate it is fun! The days fly by.

I am working with a few new models, most notably Anastasia Dorohova. Please visit her site at http://www.anastasialand.com to learn more about her.

I am completing new images pretty quickly. I always have things in development. Finished pieces usually go up on E-bay and sometimes sell before they are even finished. If you find yourself interested in a piece, please let me know.

2/28/04

I hit somewhat of a milestone today on the site-100,000 visitors! The site has been up for a little over two years or so, and has done quite well. Thanks to everyone for taking the time to visit. I have not updated here as often as I used to. I am busy painting and working in the studio. If you are interested to see where I work, visit the studio website at http://www.frameworksartandframe.com

That is where I do most of my work these days. I still airbrush at home, burning the midnight oil, but I do my brush and pencil work there. Things have come a long way in just 2 1/2 years. I hope you all continue to visit. Keep an eye on my in progress page, that is where I do most updating about new works.

1/14/04

News! Lots of it. I guess I have not updated this page a lot because I have been very busy getting a studio open. I have been painting as you can see by the new images on the Fantasy page, and a lot of them have sold already. I put them on E-bay to advertise them and they go pretty fast. If you see something you may want, let me know. I still do a three month layaway, which works out great.

I can send you to the fruits of my labor at http://www.frameworksartandframe.com Go and visit to see where I work and some of the art in the studio. This has been my project since October. I will be doing most of my work there. Finally!

11/07/03

What's new? Lots of things! I have been busy preparing to open a full time studio, so that is really taking up a lot of time right now. I will keep you posted on those developments. I also just finished a black and white painting called "Dragon Lady" for the Pin Up Heaven Charity book that will be out very soon. My Angel painting will also be included in that project. It is being printed top raise money for Children of the Night. A group of Pin Up Heaven artists volunteered to do artwork for the owner and it should be a neat collectors item. If you have not seen the Pin Up Heaven site or Yahoo! group, please follow the link on my links page. It is well worth it! Also, the Dragon Lady is on the fantasy page!

10/14/03

I just posted a new piece called "Yellow Bike" on the fantasy page. I also have a new image of Lon Chaney Jr. as the Wolfman, but it sold immediately on E-Bay. Keep checking my auctions, I am putting up "Yellow Bike" and will have a new pencil sketch finished soon.

10/04/03

I had a lot of fun doing my newest painting. It is a portrait of Bela Lugosi and can be viewed from the fantasy page. I will be taking it to Cinema Wasteland in Cleveland this weekend. It will be a great time.

09/26/03

Take a look at my new painting titled "Vampyre". It is the"In Progress" painting that I just finished. I will take it to Cinema Wasteland in Cleveland this month, so I hope to see you there.

09/10/03

I have a new image in progress on the "in progress" page! it may be slow going, as I am in the middle of a couple of projects, but keep checking back as I update.

08/05/03

Here's some cool news! My friend Khwan has built a Pin Up Heaven website. I am also featured in an in-depth interview and as an artist. If you visit the pin up heaven Yahoo group, you will see my angel painting as the image on the home page. Go to the site, which will be up around August 10th, and see my work and the interview! You can go to the banner on the links page or here is a link: http://pinupheaven.com

07/04/03

I just finished an angel painting, so go to the fantasy page and take a look. She came out really nice. My friend Khwan, who moderates a Yahoo group called Pin Up Heaven, is using it as the front page for the group. The piece will be for sale and I will have 8x10 prints, also. That is great, the painting lends itself to the theme. I will be finishing up a Pinhead painting and starting a commission, so make sure to come back and visit.

6/07/03

Hey! Finally started a new one. Check her out on the in progress page. I am trying my hand at the old angel theme. It should really soft and light when done. Keep checking it out.

Don't forget to sign my guestbook and link to your site if you have one. No adult sites please, I will remove them.

5/05/03

Check out my newest painting called "Scorpions" on the fantasy page. It really took a different direction than what I had intended. I made up the model, so she is no one in particular. A typical blonde, if there is such a thing, but she was going to be very dark when I started. The scorpion motif was a spur of the moment kind of thing.

I will be scheduled at Glamourcon in Chicago for the end of May, also. If you happen to be in the area, please do not forget to say "hi".

4/30/03

I posted two new images. One is a commission piece called "Canalis" and the other is a nice little nude study in airbrush with colored pencil. The study will go up on E-bay this week, so you can look for it. I am in the end stages of a new painting that features a blond with a scorpion motif. She is in front of a stone wall with beaded jewelry....that is enough, you will have to check back to see more soon!

4/15/03

I have a new image posted. It is in the fantasy section as "Feathers". It is a really neat design based on a photo of Veronika from Echo Gallery in Chicago. She is a Playboy model and gallery owner. I have worked with her before on a couple of other images, but this one is the most complete. It worked out great. Thanks V!

4/09/03

Posted a new image. It is from an ad I did recently. It is a different looking piece. I used a little airbrush and colored pencil with some straight paint. It is on the horror/fantasy page as "Zombie".

4/08/03

I have posted the next image for my work in progress and some new images on page one of the conventions page. If you keep track of the site, you know I enjoy meeting and talking with other artists, actors, and horror film fans. I grew up watching these films, so I really have fun talking with these people. They have the greatest stories.

4/02/03

I just uploaded a new image of a dancing girl on the fantasy page. It is a quick study on museum board with colored pencil. I am also updating the work in progress page with my latest painting, so be sure and keep an eye on that as it develops. I have another painting sitting on my easel right in line after that one. I am also closing in on finishing a commission piece that will be posted on the site. Too much work and no time to do it!! I spent a day in Cleveland at Frightvision where I got to a chance to catch up with some friends. I will post some photos of that trip also.

3/16/03

I just started to work on a new in progress painting. I will update this as I go, but I am working on another couple of projects, so it might be slow. I plan on doing some different techniques on this piece, so I hope it works out. The model is Veronika. Keep tract of my e-bay auctions, but I am running out of original pieces! A good problem to have, I guess.

02/19/03

I marked some more images as sold. They didn't last long after they went on e-bay. I sold Aria II, Veronika, and the new Dracula drawing, so those are now unavailable. I did mange to make some prints available of Aria II and the new image of Khwan called Ancient Shadows. I also am now offering the printed pin up photos signed and unmatted for $15 each, including shipping in the continental US.

02/15/03

The latest work I have posted is "Ancient Shadows". It features model Khwan. She is also the moderator for a Yahoo group called Pin Up Heaven. You should check out this group. Almost 10,000 members all fans of pin up and comic art, always interesting conversations. I am starting a new, more finished painting of Veronika, but you will have to wait for this one. It is still in the concept stage. I am also working on a commission or two. Keep your eye on my E-Bay auctions. I have sold three pieces this week! They are not around long.

2/06/03

I finally finished two of my projects for the site and they are posted! I am glad to finish these two as they have been in progress for a while. Go to the Fantasy page and check out Aria II and Veronika. I just finished them.

1/17/03

I just posted a new Dracula drawing. It is really different because I tried some metallic pencils on the gold and silver fabric. I did it more as an experiment. I wanted to try out those pens, but I also wanted to do a little sketching also.

1/12/03

I have been slowly working on Aria, as you can see on the "in progress" page. I am taking it slow, I don't want to screw it up. I am also working on a commission in between Aria and a Bram Stoker's Dracula sketch. I will post that soon. It is cool, it is a colored-pencil drawing on black board. I have him in the "Klimpt" style suit, which is only briefly visible in the film. When I can't work on one, I work on the other. But, several projects get confusing and, with limited time to work, it seems to take forever to get one done.

1/01/03

Another new year! Scary! I have to get back to working. I have a couple of projects that I am starting. On the "in progress" page I will be working on a new painting of Aria Giovanni. I am not really too worried if it looks exactly like her, I may change a few things. Keep an eye on that page, because I will update it every time I work on the image. A lot of artists shy away from showing work that is not completed, but I find it to be motivating for me. I know people are looking because I can see it on my reports.

I also have a commission or two coming in, so I will be working on those, also. I have plans of working on a new painting, or even two ,of Veronika from Echo Gallery. I have some really good reference of her.

The E-bay auctions are going very well. I have had great response from the 8x10 prints. They are a good way to collect an image if you can't but an original.

Happy New Year! e-mail me with any questions or comments. I like to hear from people viewing the site!

12/17/02

I did get my painting of Veronika finished. Go check it out from the fantasy page. It is a nice little study. I really liked doing the pink hair and the stone background with the "X" cut into it. I have seen more photos of Veronika I may like to work with also. I am getting ready to start another using Aria as the model, but I may change her so much it won't look like her when I am finished. I'm not sure until I get it started.

12/14/02

After a lot of running around, I finally have three inkjet prints available. The images of "Aria", Kelly with Rose", and "Angela" are now available as 8x10 prints. I am signing each one in gold ink and they can be personalized. I have had a lot of requests to put some of these images into print, so I am glad to start doing them. It is a great way to let everyone collect the art at an affordable price. I know it is not the original, but they really look good. Let me know if you need any. I should have a new image finished soon. Have a safe and happy holiday season!!

11/27/02

I now have 8x10 inkjet prints of "Aria" and "Kelly with Rose" available. I should have "Angela" available sometime next week. I have them matted to fit an 11 x 14 frame. I am really glad to start getting these done. I have also started working on a painting of Veronika from Echo Gallery in Chicago. You can see it develop on the "work in progress" page.

11/21/02

I now have 8" x 10" inkjet prints of "Kelly with Rose" available! They are signed and matted to fit an 11" x 14" frame. The cost is $25 plus shipping to your area. I am working on printing the images "Angela" and "Aria", also. They should be available in a week or two. They are nice quality prints on HP Premium Plus glossy photo paper. They look really sharp. E-Mail me for your order.

11/17/02

I just posted my painting of Aria. I finally finished it. It seems like it took forever because I haven't had much time to work on it. But, it was worth the wait. Good news also! I am working on printing a couple of pinup images. I want to try them out and see how they work. While I have an extensive background in printing wildlife images, this will be different. No huge runs of prints. Technology has changed so much, I should be able to do small ink-jet prints. I am planning small 8x10 images matted to 11x14. I could also do a larger image from the file I am making. If you are interested, let me know, I will keep you updated by e-mail. If not, keep your eyes on the site, they will be coming soon.

11/05/02

There isn't much news here the last few days, except I have been really busy with my schedule. Almost too busy to paint. I have added a couple of photos to my painting of Aria on the"in progress" page.

10/15/02

I made some changes to my categories on the home page. The step by step link is my painting "Angela" from start to finish. The "in progress" page will remain the project I am currently working on. As of now, I have started a painting of Aria Giovanni. A friend is letting me use photos he took at a Glamourcon photo shoot. Things are going very well. I am looking in to printing a few images, and have two other projects in mind.

9/30/02

I just returned from Glamourcon in Chicago. I met some models that I may be using in some upcoming work, and got a chance to catch up with some friends. Kelly Kole was cool enough to sign two of the paintings I did of her. You should go check out her site from my links page, she is one of the best! I also got a chance to watch a photo session with Aria Giovanni. It was a fun show, always a good time. I managed to finish my "in progress" painting the night before the show, so I was able to show that there. I had a lot of interest in it. Some people even told me that they had been watching it progress on the site. I really appreciate those people who had positive comments about the work. It is nice to know that people are out there watching!

09/26/02

I hope you have been checking the "in progress" page periodically. I have been working steadily on that piece and it is developing well.

09/17/02

I have added a couple of images to the "work in progress" painting. It is coming along well. Make sure to check back once a week or so, because I will be updating that page as I get more of that piece finished. Also, I have some info about Kelly Kole's new photo book. She has a site set up at http://www.kellykole.org/ to order it. All the info is there.

09/13/02

I posted a new category on the home page. "Work in Progress". Go there to see a step by step painting in process. This is a painting I am currently working on. Check back often to see it develops. I have no idea yet how it will come out.

09/05/02

Those visitors who may be interested in purchasing Kelly Kole's upcoming book, please follow the link on my links page. The info to order is on her site.

I am starting to work on sketches for a new painting. I can say it is a pin up piece, but other than that I am still sketching. I am probably going to feature this piece as a "work in progress"on the site. I will have a page dedicated to following the progress of the piece step by step. This will give you some insight on how a piece is created. I hope this works out, I always want to trash every piece I do at some point. I am not a big fan of showing my work in progress, but it should be an interesting addition to the site. Keep checking back, I should get this going in the next couple of weeks.

08/23/02

I have been working on the zombie that I have posted at the top of this page. It will be used on the Monsters Among Us site and for the advertising for Mike Pierce's Monsters Among Us shows. I will also have the three paintings of Kelly Kole appearing in her upcoming book! I believe it will be a few months before it is published, but I can't wait to have them included. It was really cool of her to ask for them. Thanks Kelly!

08/08/02

I have been updating the pinup pages to make them easier to read and see. They look a lot more simple. I also had to update my guestbook. As a guideline, if you leave a guestbook message, don't be an ass! I will just remove it. Anyway the new guestbook has a few more options, it even links to your site if you want it . I should also state that many of the images on the site are personal works, or are on here as samples only. They are meant to show my technique with different media, so that if you want a commission, you have something to reference.

8/01/02

I hope everyone is checking out this new painting of Kelly. I have it on e-bay and I see a lot of hits on that page. The three images of Kelly are slated to appear in her book, so the paintings will be great collectors items. I don't expect them to hang around long. I also have had a lot of people going back and forth on purchasing Samantha, but it's too late! Don't forget - these can be put on a three month layaway plan! I don't want anyone to miss a buying a piece that they really want. Come back and visit soon! I am working on a close up zombie portrait for Monsters Among Us. It will be cool, I am working from a cast skull I got from Tom Savini and adding flesh to it. At least a little flesh!

7/30/02

I just updated the pin up page with a new image. I have a full painting of Kelly Kole. I have been kicking this idea around for a couple of months, and it finally came full circle. Go to the fantasy page and check out Kelly with Rose. I have two other studies of her on that page. I also will be slowly updating the appearance of the site, so some pages will look different than others. Go check this one out it is really cool!

7/11/02

I am dropping the line of open edition prints of lighthouses and windmills. I have also put all of the prices of the originals in that category at $175 each. Those are really nice pen and ink drawings, so make sure you take a look at them when you have time. Although most visitors to the site are here to see pin ups and fantasy art. I still have a large number of hits on those pages.

7/08/02

I have a new study of Kelly Kole up on the fantasy page. This was from a Judy Reynolds photo taken at VAMP in Chicago. I altered some parts of it, such as the spear. I should be starting a finished painting of Kelly very soon.

7/05/02

Well, this month is the one year anniversary of the launch of my site! It has been quite a project. I want to thank everyone for visiting and being supportive. I have had almost 20,000 visitors to the site and have been working non-stop with commissions. I have been to shows and met a lot of cool people. I have lots of plans for upcoming work, so keep checking back. Keep an eye on my e-bay auctions, leave a message on my board, or just e-mail to say "hi". I really appreciate everyone taking the time to look at my corner of the net!

6/30/02

I posted a small study of Ba-Da-Bing girl, model, and actress Kelly Kole. The photo was taken at the Chicago Vamp show by Judy Reynolds. Kelly and Judy have been very helpful and great to work with. I can't say enough good things about them. I am starting to work on a finished airbrush painting of Kelly. I will keep you updated.

6/21/02

I got back from VAMP in Chicago and posted some more photos on my conventions page. I will be doing some work with Kelly Kole, the Ba Da Bing girl from the Sopranos. I am looking forward to doing a project with her as the subject, she has been great to work with. I will keep you posted on the progress.

6/06/02

I just finished a smaller image to take to Chicago for the VAMP show this weekend. It came out really nice. I used a softer look for this one. Go to the fantasy page and look at "Michelle".

6/03/02

Just finished a new nude for the site. Go to the horror and fantasy page to look at "Adele". Real nice looking piece on canvas. I am planning to attend the VAMP and Monsters Among Us show in Chicago June 8th and 9th. I will be taking a few of these images with me, so stop in if you are in the area.

5/26/02

I just finished and posted a new pin up style piece that has been in the works for a couple of months. I get a chance here and there in between commissions to do some work for myself, so eventually I can roll one out. The title is Samantha, go to the Fantasy page to have a look.

5/13/02

It's been a little while since my last update. I have been working steadily on two pieces, so it takes a little longer to get them done. The pin up for the site is about half done, and I have been dedicating most of my time to a commission. Looks like I may be able to attend the Monsters Among Us/ V.A.M.P show in Chicago June 8th and 9th. I will be taking some original pieces, so if you are in the area, stop in! Need info on the show? Click this link http://www.monstersamongus.com/ to the Monsters Among Us site. I also painted the zombie that they use for show info and advertising. Watch my e-bay auctions and check back for the new pieces!!

4/15/02

Just posted a nice little pencil study of singer Jewel. I just thought she had interesting features, and I had some down time to do a quick study. I will have it up on e-bay tonight. I am currently doing a commission for a client of a nude and trying to squeeze in a new pinup for the site. I have been really steady doing work and hope to have some new things up soon. I plan on doing some more colored pencil nudes, also. They are affordable and come out really sharp. Keep visiting and leaving messages on my board!

3/28/02

I finished a pinup of Sherry Arnett. It is posted on the horror and fantasy page. Go check it out! She will be going up on E-Bay, so keep your eyes on my auctions! Things that I do for the site, like Sherry, tend to sell pretty quickly, so keep checking this section, or e-mail me for sneak previews or updates on what is new.

Commissions are going well. If you would like one done, please e-mail me to set up subject and price.

3/13/02

Just finished a nude drawing of a model on the beach. It is listed on the Horror and Fantasy pages entitled Tawni. Go check it out. I am planning to do more of the kinds of quick studies. They are affordable and nice little additions to collections. They are softer focus, but really appear sharp from five feet away.

I have been busy working on a new pinup painting of Sherry Arnett. So far, so good. I also am doing some advertising art for the Monsters Among Us Chicago show in June. I have acool zombie going for that. I will also be planning on attending that show. I want to go and set up a display, but am having trouble keeping paintings in stock. Things are going pretty quickly. My Victoria pinup sold in two weeks. Keep your eyes on E-Bay for my auctions!

I posted a new Tomb Raider piece. Several people have suggested that I should do another, so I thought I would try some new techniques out on this one. I added a lot of texture to the background on this one. Go to the horror / fantasy page to see this one.

Finished a Vampirella commission. It is posted on the Fantasy page. It came out very well. I am working on a new Angelina Jolie piece, and will be starting another pin-up. The site has been very busy. Lots of inquiries about commissions and what's new.

Just posted a new fantasy image. Go look at Victoria. It is a nice airbrushed acrylic on illustration board. It probably will not last long. It is very detailed and striking. I hope it looks as good over the net.

Check out the pages for conventions. I have some photos of people I have met at shows. Probably boring for some, but I have a blast. Most of these people are really cool. I grew up watching these films, so it's great to go talk to these guys. Some tell great stories about the films they have been in. Keep checking back, leave feedback, and I will update soon with a new commission, and piece for the site.

I posted a new image in the horror category. It is a commission that came out really good! Go click on KIM (if you are over 18) and check it out! I am on to my next project, a commission of Vampirella, but I will also be working on a pin-up type nude for the site. I will probably do it as a "work in progress", showing how I work on a painting. Keep checking back. Thanks to all you Calandra's leaving feedback, I'm trying to make my contribution!

Wow, I haven't updated the site in a while! I have been very busy painting commissions that I have received from the site, e-bay, and local clients. I have a great nude I am just finishing up, and will begin work on a Vampirella piece shortly. I am also working on a pin-up type nude for the site. They will be up as samples as soon as they are finished. I will be working on posting some new pen and inks soon, too. You will also notice several pieces have sold. I have been really busy! If you need a commission, or are interested in a piece, please e-mail me! The process is simple. You may also check for items on e-bay, as I have had great responses from things I have had posted for sale. Leave feedback on my message board and I will see you soon!

Finished the Elvira piece. Go to the horror home page to check it out or just click here. Pretty cool, isn't it? It took me a couple of weeks, but I can't work as steadily as I would like to. If you are interested in this piece, or in any piece, contact me. These things have away of selling suddenly.

I just posted another lighthouse image. Bass Island lighthouse. Go to the lighhouse page and take a look. I am still concentrating on Elvira. It is a larger piece (30x40) so it will be a little longer. It looks great though!

Wow! Had agreat week in New York. I've never been there and got a chance to go with Mike Pierce from Monsters Among Us to do the Chiller Theatre Convention. I took several paintings to display and even got my "Pinhead" painting signed by Pinhead himself, Doug Bradley. There was a huge Halloween party and lots people to see. We did get to Ground Zero, which is much more depressing than you can imagine. It is very eerie to actually be there. We were very uneasy, but had to go pay our respects.

I want to tell everyone placing orders for the holidays that you should try to have them in by December 8th for delivery. If you need something after that date, please e-mail me first to confirm availability. The site has been really busy, so the sooner I hear from you the better.

I am working on an a larger airbrush piece of Elvira. It is really coming along. I have been really busy with some commissions, so it is great to hit the paint again and have some fun. I will have it up on the site as soon as it is finished.
